Möhr Sweets was born from something deeply personal.

Möhr started with my daughter Kiki. When she was 15, she went through a very hard stretch. OCD, social anxiety and depression. The kind of quiet suffering invisible to everyone except the people who love you most. Together we discovered that cutting sugar and reducing carbs helped. Her IBS calmed, her mind steadied, and slowly she found her beautiful joyful self again.

But she was missing chocolate very much, and the sugar-free versions on the market were really bad for her stomach, because most of them are made with erythritol, which caused her digestive discomfort. What was supposed to be a better option still didn't feel right.

A few years ago she turned to me and said: "We should build a chocolate brand. One that actually tastes good and doesn't hurt your mood or your tummy." I was burnt out after eight years running a French bakery, I thought I was done reinventing myself. But destiny had a different plan, and this time it came in the form of my daughter.

She asked with such power and determination that I couldn't say no. And when your daughter, who fought her way back to herself through the very thing you're about to build, asks you to create something wonderful with her, you say yes.
